SSC Ex-Cadre Recruitment 2025: Selection process
Selection for these posts will be done on the basis of promotion. Candidates will be selected as per their experience, qualifications and prescribed eligibility. The selection process of SSC Ex-Cadre Recruitment 2025 will be under departmental rules.
SSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Accountant (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
- Upper Division Clerks (UDCs) of Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) with a minimum of 10 years of service and who have completed training in Cash & Accounts work at Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM) or equivalent institute. In addition, candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in Cash, Accounts & Budget work.
- Officers holding analogous posts from any organised accounts department or SAS/Accounts qualified clerks.
- The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Accounts Officer (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted)
- Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis in their parent cadre/department, or officers with 5 years of service in Pay Level-5 or equivalent in their parent department.
- Candidates who have successfully passed the SAS or equivalent examination conducted by the Organized Accounts Department, or have completed training in cash and accounting work at ISTM or equivalent institute, and have at least 3 years of experience in cash, accounting and budget work.
- The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Pay Band
The pay levels prescribed for the posts of Accountant and Accounts Officer are as follows: The pay level for the post of Accountant is 5, which includes salary ranging from ₹9300 to ₹34800 and grade pay of ₹4200. At the same time, the pay level for the post of Accounts Officer is 6, which includes salary ranging from ₹9300 to ₹34800 and grade pay of ₹4600.
