DU Recruitment 2024: Delhi University started the application process for various non-teaching posts from December 18. Today (January 16) is the last date to register, candidates who have not yet applied can apply through the official website (du.ac.in).
Earlier the last date to apply was December 27, 2024, which was extended to January 16, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 137 posts, which includes 11 posts for Assistant Registrar, 46 posts for Senior Assistant and 80 posts for Assistant.
Educational Qualification For DU Recruitment 2024
- Assistant Registrar: Candidate must have a master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Also, their age should not be more than 49 years.
- Senior Assistant: Candidate must have three years of experience as an Assistant or equivalent post in level-4 and must have a graduation degree. The age limit is 35 years.
- Assistant: Candidate must have two years of experience as a Junior Assistant/equivalent post and must have a graduation degree with typing proficiency.
Selection Process
The selection process of DU Recruitment 2024 consists of three main stages. The first stage will consist of a preliminary objective test, which aims to evaluate the general aptitude and professional knowledge of the candidates. This will be followed by the main examination, which will be based on the subject expertise, reasoning ability and problem solving skills of the candidates. The final stage will be a skill test, which will test typing speed, data handling, and related technical skills. Through all these tests, the overall ability of the candidates will be tested properly.

Application Fee
General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000, while the application fee for SC, ST and PWD category candidates has been fixed at Rs 600. Keep in mind that the application fee will be accepted only through online mode, so candidates have to pay online only.
DU Recruitment 2024: How to Apply
- Candidates should first visit the official website (du.ac.in).
- A new page will open on the website, where candidates have to click on the “Online Application Link”.
- After this, register yourself and login to the account.
- Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form and keep a hard copy of it with you.
